Changing Partners in Salsa Classes
This is my first time ever taking salsa class. This class is been very interesting and exciting, and needs all my concentration I must say.  I never paid attention to the wonderful fitness and dance classes that Cañada has been offering, even though I just graduate from Cañada College last semester, (AA’s Psychology, Disciplinary Studies in Humanities, Social & Behavior Science). I never paid attention or knew about the opportunity to take salsa classes.  My husband loves salsa music, as I walked out from one of the hallways of my classes, I took a flyer that Cañada is offering salsa dance, I gave it to my husband and he liked the idea of taking some classes together; however we had no idea what the class was all about.
My husband and I start practice the steps before the class start. As soon as the classes start, I am looking forward to see what I will learn from my other classmates. Changing partners I think is a great idea, due to the fact that, I as a beginner I did benefit of more exposure to the class and experience of my other classmates, For example, while I am learning the basic steps which I thought it was unreal impossible, I am learning a lot from my class mates. I could not agree more with you that, changing partners is a positive learning experience not mentioning that my husband and I are been married for 20 plus years (laughing out loud). I honestly can see the benefit not only as participation and interaction with other students, as well as letting your insecurity and embarrassment go! That is my experience. My only set back as student changing partners is that, since this is new the steps are (very new to me), and they for some reason only get to my short memory! I am trying to learn my steps and patterns, and the next partner does not know or as soon as a get to the other person, either I forget or the other partner does not and since I am supposed to follow my leader, I am done! (with my learning..) I do not know what goes next, I get frustrated and just wait until somebody else remember the steps, that is if the teacher did not change to the next steps, I know we will benefit if we take salsa classes part 2 that we we can refresh the steps and practice the steps. Thank you!

I seestars that go to this room that is very big! As soon as you get to the bottom of the stairs you can see a table that brings your attention towards it, The table is wood color and very elegant you walk around it and you can see some green plants that are decorating the window of the room, which is a large rectangular shape with view of the garden of the house an spectacular view. The wall is down! I can see this beautiful room full with live things, like the plants and the computer on top of the desk my lap top. The color of the walls is beige and the floor is wood.  It is an elegant design of the furniture and the decoration is of classic designs as well.
The mood suggests that this could be a law office or exhibition place, may be due to the organization, or a relaxing place if the music was on. I see this place as a clean environment and relaxing place to get and have all the stress out and just am happy, where people could come and find comfort and help for personal help.Walking step by step, an actor could stop and listen to the music and sit on the couch or a chair and forget about why is he/she there.  Walking on the hallways, they could get lost between the plants and try to get closer to the garden of the house and grab some fruits or flowers of the garden.

Q4: How Do Actors Build Their Careers?

1)     How is it that you can NOT prove to the auditions (the director, casting director, producers) that you’re right for the role?
An actor needs to be confident, because confidence is one of the things that you are selling as an actor (just like in real life, you will always get rejected) According to Bryan Cranston’s Advice to Aspiring Actors You are not going to get a job, you are going to present what you do yourself as an actor, what you do best.
2)     Why do you not have that power?
I believe is like anything in any kind of job. If you place your resume and the company that you are interested to work with do get somebody with more potential, obvious they will get the person with more potential. I would take the advice of Bryan Cranston's, just to present myself as what I do best, as an actor and leave like that and see what happens. Because an actor is supposed to present on the environment of the auditions. You are going to present what you do, there is power…
3)     What CAN you do instead? I would take the advice of Bryan Cranston's, just to present at what I do best as an actor and leave like that and see what happens.
4)     What power DO you have?
According to the videos, Actors are always rejected, and it is personal. An actor needs to be confident, because confidence is one of the things that you are selling as an actor (just like in real life, you will always get rejected) Confidence is one of the things you are selling too.
5)     If you were an actor constantly auditioning and constantly receiving rejections, how do you think you could keep yourself motivated?

I think I would take the advice of Bryan Cranston's to create a compelling character. Since I am going to present what I do best is acting then, he said there is power. That I should not go to auditions to try to get a job, yet to present myself at what a do best as an actor and to leave it like and not to look back, that is his philosophy and I like that, it make sense what he advice.

NOTES;

As always, folks, I encourage you to engage your imagination, your empathy, and your creativity!
YOU ARE SELLING YOU. When they said they do not want you, they do not want you! As a person. Actor is always rejected. Confidence is one of the things you are selling too.
Bryan Cranston's Advice to Aspiring Actors Create a compelling character. You are going to present what you do. There is power
GOING TO ADUTIONS TRY TO get a job. An actor is supposed to present on the environment of the auditions. You are not going to get a job; you are going to present what you do yourself as an actor. Philosophy. never look back and been busier one I hold down to that.

Tony Superstars' Best Advice for Actors

You want to be confident, put yourself out.  Creative, good ideas strong choices and be yourself. Take challenges, be who you are.  Find out what you do and sell that. Take no for an answer. Depends on what your journey is. Take any opportunity you get, say yes! Is just about taking risks. Make theater.  Be creative. Never give and diversify yourself. Anything makes you nervous is important. Stop trying to act so much. Listening as an actor. Keep working and make connections, be friends to everyone.  Have the personality and be kind to people

Part 1: The Theater is the meaning of the combination of ideas and artwork of people. It is a collaboration of ideas and passion of people for art, is the way to say oh express something, such as a story to society in a different way. Theater, make a valuable contribution to the world compared to other professions. I believe that theater is one of the ways to express, and also bring people together in one place for a cause.

Storytelling.February 2nd .JOB DESCRIPTION

Well now my son has a girlfriend and they have plans to marry.  I'm trying to explain that having commitments are hard, especially if you  are planning on having children is a commitment  of a lifetime! My friends find this description of being a parent and I gave it to him.  I think that we should have license to have children because it is one of the hardest and most important work in a parent life. If it had been presented this way, I  would not have done it!!! .
JOB DESCRIPTION: Long term, team players needed, for challenging permanent work in an often chaotic environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call. Some overnight travel required, including trips to primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in faraway cities. Travel expenses not reimbursed. Extensive courier duties also required.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The rest of your life. Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs $5.  Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly. Also, must possess the physical stamina of a pack mule and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat in case, this time, the screams from the backyard are not someone just crying wolf.  Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges, such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets and stuck zippers. Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and coordinate production of multiple homework projects. Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings for clients of all ages and mental outlooks.  Must be willing to be indispensable one minute, an embarrassment the next. Must handle assembly and product safety testing of a half million cheap, plastic toys, and battery operated devices. Must always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.  Must assume final, complete accountability for the quality of the end product. Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and janitorial work throughout the facility.
POSSIBILITY FOR ADVANCEMENT & PROMOTION:  Virtually none. Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating your skills, so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:  None required unfortunately. On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.

For each moment, do these two things:
1)      Describe your personal response to it – your reaction, thoughts, & feelings. Be sure to describe your own reaction, rather than judging the work as “good” or “bad”. Use “I felt” and “I thought” statements.
2)      Relate that moment to one of Aristotle’s Six Elements of theatre (plot, character, idea, language, image, sound).

Write one 3-5 sentence paragraph for each of the moments you want to comment on.
Personal Response to a Live Performance: Two Examples
Example A: Good Observation of One’s Own Reaction
EGBDF Personal Response
When Ivanov began conducting his orchestra, I was completely convinced that he was indeed conducting his orchestra. Even if the music hadn’t been there, I would’ve felt like I could hear exactly what he was hearing.
Then, when Alexander began reacting to Ivanov’s actions, I believed that he was frustrated that his sleep was being disrupted and that he truly thought this man was crazy. When Alexander went to go talk to the Doctor about being released from the hospital, I found myself completely engaged in everything Alexander was saying. His anger and frustration came off so strongly, I felt angry for him. The part that had the most emotional effect on me personally was at the point when Sacha is singing “Daddy don’t be rigid,” and Alexander is reading the letters he wrote. Even though they were in such close quarters to each other, being on a stage and all, I could feel how far apart they were from each other and also how badly they wanted to be together.
There were only two parts that I had caught myself losing interest for a little, which was during Alexander’s long monologue and the long music part after Ivanov declares once again that he does have an orchestra. Both times, I felt that it was the writing and not the acting that dragged on.
I caught myself giggling on more than one occasion throughout the play, making it so I had experienced more than just anger and frustration, which is my favorite kind of theater experience.
